Soorp Asdvadazadzin Armenian Apostolic Church has helped thousands of needy people in Armenia over the years. The Church has helped them to build houses, establish businesses, publish books, and most recently, has sent 2 large containers full of medical equipment, medicine, health and beauty supplies, clothing, computers and every day necessities for needy families. Financially, monies have been spent on helping support orphanages and elderly housing, purchasing materials to help rebuild churches, schools and other municipal buildings. Over the years, the church has “adopted” over 36 Armenian children, paying costs for the annual education and school expenses of each child.
For the past 3 years, various members of our church, along with Der Aram and
Yeretzgeen, have traveled to Armenia to deliver desperately needed items
directly to the people that need them. One one trip, the entire group
helped BUILD a house that the church had sponsored. This page is dedicated
to our efforts abroad, as well as to our humanitarian efforts back home.
