The Soorp Asdvadzadzin community warmly welcomed Reverend Father Aram Stepanian and Yeretzgeen Margaret on February 14, 1999.  Der Aram was recently awarded the right to wear The Priestly Pectoral Cross (Lanchakhatch) by Aram 1 Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia on January 26, 2004. His Eminence, Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan presented this cross to Der Aram at the annual church banquet on May 16, 2004.

Welcoming Words from Der Aram Stepanian

You may say "Here is another web site".  I remember  years ago when we did not have computer technology, we had to wait for days before we received a letter or got information on  something. Now you can have information on anything under the sun at the tip of your fingers... even the age of a person who does not want to reveal his/her age. Technology can be used  for good or for bad.

Soorp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Apostolic Church of Whitinsville
is using modern Technology as a tool to reach near and beyond our boundaries to offer our message and service to all.

I personally welcome you and thank you for visiting our web site. I hope this added service will be helpful to make your life more meaningful. We would also like to have your input, questions and ideas  in order to serve you and the community at large more effectively. I want to emphasize that although the Church is an Armenian Church, regardless of your Nationality,  denomination, or your personal background, the Church wholeheartedly welcomes you.  As our Mission Statement says, we acknowledge Christ as our common ground  through whom we find forgiveness, peace and tranquility.  Though the Church Service is conducted in Armenian we provide ways and means to enable the attendee to follow the beautiful and the inspiring Service in English.  Every Sunday, the sermon is preached in English and televised every Thursday at 8:00 P.M. on our local channel 11. The Church Service is such, that although it starts at 10:00 A.M. you may walk in just for the sermon if you so choose.  You will meet friendly and warm parishioners.  After the Service we always have a "Fellowship Hour", where we have the opportunity to get to know each other.

I hope and pray that this web site will be an opportunity for you to enjoy the blessings of God and become a channel to serve you better and meet your spiritual needs.

May God richly bless you through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Rev. Fr. Aram Stepanian
Pastor
