Verkin Arakelian's 90th Birthday Celebration
April 2005

The church hall was crowded as Verkin made her way down the stairs.  She didn't even realize that the celebration was for her until she saw the cake!  She offered many words of wisdom, including "go to Church".  She recalled the day that she was literally the only parishioner in church.  Although Verkin has seen many changes within the church over the years, she has remained one of the few constants.  A wonderful celebration for a wonderful person.
